Brod Elpidio “Pidi” Barzaga, Jr. returned as a Mayor of Dasmariñas City, Cavite after finishing three (3) terms or a total of nine (9) years as Congressman of the 2nd District of Cavite. He also finished a continuous 9-year stint as Mayor of the same locality before he became a Congressman. He was one of the public prosecutors during the impeachment trial in the Senate of then Chief Justice Renato Corona.

Grand Chancellor Joel “JTV” Villanueva is the incumbent Vice-President of the Liga ng mga Barangay in the capital city, Manila. He is one of the Punong Barangays or Barangay Chairmen/Captain in the Sampaloc area. He ran under the group of incumbent Mayor and former Philippine President Joseph “Erap” Estrada. He ran under the slogan “Magbola, ‘Wag Magdroga,” an advocacy against the use of illegal drugs through participating in a game of basketball.
