PGC Nestor Jimenez Speaks to FEU Law Freshies

Tau Kappa Phi Past Grand Chancellor (PGC), Nestor Jimenez, Jr. was invited as one of the speakers during the Freshmen Orientation Program of the Far Eastern University, Institute of Law (FEU-IL) held at its campus in Makati City on June 27, 2014.

PGC Nestor is the Grand Chancellor of the Tau Kappa Phi Law Fraternity for School Year 1987-1988. He is a Clerk of Court at the Manila Metropolitan Trial Court (MeTC).  He has been working with the MeTC since 1984.


During the freshmen orientation, he spoke about the humble beginnings of the Tau Kappa Phi Fraternity and the prestige it has received throughout the years. He also gave them bits of advice on how to survive law school and become lawyers themselves.

John Thomas Alferos, who works at the Office of the City Secretary of Quezon City. FEU Past Portian Most Exhalted Sister, Atty. Ana Luz Cristal also gave her words of wisdom and spoke in behalf of the FEU Portia Sorority.

The even was held by the Institute of Law Student Council. The FEU-IL was transferred to RCBC Building in Makati City for the start of its Juris Doctor (JD) course offering. FEU-IL is under a new Dean, Atty. Melencio S. Sta. Maria,  who was appointed on November 16, 2013.
